Products & Services
AccessBank's operations are designed to ensure the highest level of banking standards in terms of efficiency, customer satisfaction and transparency. Our product portfolio has been designed with the target customer group in mind. Most clients prefer a Bank that offers simple, affordable, "no-frills" products and services while minimising hassle, waiting times and hidden costs. At AccessBank they receive plain good and fast customer service with no annoyances and negative surprises.
Our offering comprises a broad range of banking products and services. On the lending side, the Bank specializes in providing credit to micro, small and medium- sized businesses (click here for more info). We are proud to be among the fastest and most flexible banks in Tanzania when it comes to business lending, and are successfully financing many thousands of clients who were previously struggling to meet the collateral or documentation requirements of other banks. For more details see the Credit page.
For individual and corporate clients, AccessBank offers a variety of account products including current accounts, savings accounts, savings plan accounts, student accounts and fixed term deposits. All account types have in common that fees and charges to the customer are reduced to a minimum so as to reduce the burden for the client. Nonetheless we are offering very attractive interest rates especially to those clients who wish to save with us for a considerable time period.
AccessBank's clients can also use a variety of payment instruments and services including cheques, domestic and international money transfer (either through the normal inter-bank system or via Western Union). At our tellers they can also pay their taxes or acquire "E-Money" for Vodacom's M-Pesa system or cash in transfers received through the M-Pesa system.
AccessBank is a member of the fast-growing Umoja ATM network, so that all of our clients can use the ATMs of other banks connected to this system. This gives our customers an excellent coverage even when outside of Dar es Salaam.
